CHALLENGE

The brief was to create a best in class range of demo experiences for Logitechs premier racing wheel. The solutions to be varied enough to consider most global retail situations. Merchandising stock alongside the demo experience would be essential to maximise sales opportunities. Other Logitech products should be considered as part of the overall demonstration, including headphones and speakers.

SOLUTION

Horizon created a design DNA based around the race track environment. Track banking, road surfaces and starting grid features were all integrated in to the fixture design alongside Logitech G’s visual identity. A range of retail display solutions were then created which started from a singular 1m shelf and grew up to a 4 pallet footprint. Cutting edge lighting and hardware was designed and created to give shoppers a clear countdown to interaction, which was delivered via a PC or Console. Giving shoppers the opportunity to play or at least feel the feedback would inevitably help them understand the gaming benefits, which would ultimately lead to purchase. Various screens were integrated in to the solution to provide gaming opportunities, play attract videos or give a contrived product demonstration without play.
