The challenge was to promote a product that sat between a smart watch and a sports tracker. We needed to ensure that the Basis PEAK appealed to customers who wanted a watch to wear 7 days a week with basic smart watch functions yet also providing serious sports measurement tools when needed, including a built in Heart rate monitor.
Our team of designers created a range of instore POS and event materials with a strong common theme.
The clear imagery defined the target audience through the use of everyday and sports images. The use of raindrops as a background differentiated the watch from its non-waterproof competitors.
We displayed charged watches with built in demo screen modes alongside a wide range of performance and fashion strap options, demonstrating that a dayglo orange strap could be quickly changed to a conservative leather strap.
The Basis PEAK displays, manufactured in various sizes were installed in a wide range of retailers including consumer electronics and specialist sports stores.
